「いりす」はギリシャ神話の「虹の女神イリス」から名付けられました。 お台場の発展を願って1993年（平成5年）”レインボー・ブリッジ”は架けられました。2002年（平成14年）に進水した本船はお台場に就航するにあたり、これにあやかり名付けられました。 客室は、ウッディな内装で明るい雰囲気を醸し出しています。屋上デッキも広くオープンエアな潮風が心地良く感じられます。

The name of the ship"IRIS" originates from the rainbow goddess in the Greek mythology. It was built on 2002, named after The "Rainbow Bridge"which was built to seek expansion of Odaiba area in 1993. The Interior decor of the cabin is bright, lavished with woodtone materials. Rooftop deck is spacious, where you can enjoy the refreshing gentle breeze.
